The intelligence services expect to see between 650,000 and 900,000 people in France for the tenth day of mobilization against the pension reform, Tuesday March 28. Among them, two to three times more young people compared to last Thursday.
At 7 a.m., most high school students wake up, but others have decided to block the entrance to their establishment in Val-de-Marne, with garbage cans, on an exam day. The watchword is the same for all: “No to pension reform”. “As a high school student, we know very well that we have this power to be able to overturn the government and that it can remove its pension reform. There are intelligence notes which indicate that we could double or even triple the number of young people on the street compared to last week. This fear, we will make it happen with the blockades that we are doing today”testifies a high school student.
Many blockades everywhere in France
In front of the establishment, only those who have bac exams on the morning of Tuesday March 28 are authorized to enter by those who block. Another mode of action in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), where high school students lit a fire of garbage cans to block the road in front of their high school. Around 450 establishments and around 20 faculties have been blocked across the country.
